“Can I replace my Verizon Fios (Model G-1100) router with this system or should I look for another mesh system or stand alone wifi router?? I currently have 1gb internet only service, no Coax requirements and I lose wifi signal in distant rooms.”

Hi, Mhig. Our Linksys devices are compatible with major ISPs. Also, this device is compatible with the following Network Standards: 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, WiFi 4 (802.11n), WiFi 5 (802.11ac), WiFi 6 (802.11ax).

You would need to ensure the MX is compatible with the Verizon modem (via Verizon) Most are. I have Spectrum and there is no problems at all. If you have a combo modem/router from Verizon you can disable the wifi, plug the MX in via Ethernet and away you go.
