• Works fine in mine. But is yours a 1,200 square foot two story house or a 12,000 square foot two story house?

• That's a resounding "maybe"! Depends on the structure and distance. But I'll be optimistic and say "probably" as long as the floor between isn't something like a steel sheet, concrete, or cinderblock.
