Q: Questiondoes the camera get connected with a ethernet cable and if so does it receive power over ethernet ? if the camera is not ethernet connected what cable connects to the camera for network connectivity and power?

• A:Answer You need a high cap brodband plan like 500 to 1000 gb a month each cam can use up to 300 gb a month do not use cellular to use these cams unless you turn the quality way down.

Q: QuestionWhat is an IoT hub actually used for? I don't want a remote control I don't want it to send a tweet to my car, I just want camera that can record stuff. Why can't I just run it to my router and upline to the cloud, hopefully Google drive?

Q: QuestionDoes this camera constantly stream video or can it be set to only turn on by motion activation? From everything I've read, it sounds like it is always streaming. I'm concerned that will use up too much bandwidth.

• A:Answer Yes, it is homekit compatible with a firmware upgrade. The homekit code is on the back of the camera. You have to remove the white plastic cover, which is easy to find it.

• A:Answer Lithium ion batteries do not last long in the cold. I would get the wired version if you live in an area that drops below 45 Fahrenheit a lot. Don’t tell Al Gore but electric cars will NEVER work in places that have cold winters like We have in Michigan. Lol. If you have to go wireless I suggest a 2nd battery because you will be swapping them frequently when it’s cold. So don’t put the camera in a spot that is super hard to get to frequently. It says it’s good to -4 Fahrenheit. If I was you I would get a camera that is always on because it will heat itself while recording. Just my opinion.
