A:AnswerYes it should. You can go to the Harmony universal remote website and enter all your components brand names and it'll tell you if the remote can be used for your component or not.
A:AnswerTake the battery out and wait a few seconds then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, plug into computer and check for updates or repairs while connected.
A:AnswerYes, but the button assignments may need to be changed or added manually. The remote software assigned my TV's directional controls to the remote's directional controls instead of the Channelmaster's directional controls. Also, there was no button assignment to access recorded programs.
A:AnswerDoes it handle different brands? Yes! I have three different units hooked up to mine. Samsung TV, Polk Audio Soundbar & Time Warner cable box. Will run each one individually and turn all three off at once. You have to plug remote it into your computer with a USB cable and program it. Make sure you reboot your computer after loading the program for the software to load correctly.
A:AnswerAlmost certainly compatible, but you can easily check by going to Logitech support and the My Harmony device compatibility checker... https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility
A:AnswerYou'll have to get the model #'s of each unit you want it to operate and plug it all into a computer. That's it. Very simple to use and program.
A:AnswerGo to Logitech.com and program it. It is super easy. I did 2 differents TV set up in less than 2 minutes. Believed me! I thought I was going to struggle when I bought the remote and that was not the case.
A:AnswerMost likely, but the remote has to be pointed at the cable box. This is an infrared model, which means that it must see the sensor on the item you are trying to control. So, if you want to be able to control something in a different room, you will need a different model remote... and a cable box that is compatible with being controlled without line-of-sight remotes.
