• Does it handle different brands? Yes! I have three different units hooked up to mine. Samsung TV, Polk Audio Soundbar & Time Warner cable box. Will run each one individually and turn all three off at once. You have to plug remote it into your computer with a USB cable and program it. Make sure you reboot your computer after loading the program for the software to load correctly.
