Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I install home theater systems. I have lots of experience with this remote. I don't work in an area with the luxury of Google Fiber TV. I can't say that I know with any certainty that it does. However, if the GFTV remote utilizes IR light to command the GFTV box, then yes, you can control GFTV with this remote. If by chance the IR commands are not in Logitech's database, then you can do head-to-head learning to teach (and then test and check) commands. Q: How do I know if the GFTV remote uses IR light? A: Point the GFTV remote at the box. Press channel up. Does it change channels? Yes it does. Good, your batteries work. Now cover the front of the GFTV remote with your hand. Press channel up again. Does it change channels? If no, then jump for joy. You have an IR remote. Commands are either in Logitech's database or you're gonna do a little extra programming. If yes, then you have an RF remote not IR. Call your service provider and see if there's a way to make your GFTV box teach commands (dish network satellite boxes used to do this. Bose did too. TMI...sorry.)
