I don't know. This remote works on an infra red (IR) signal. If the U VERSE remote is an IR signal, the answer is yes. If the U VERSE remote is a radio signal (RF), the answer is no.

I have never had an instance to try to connect to a uverse unit so I am not sure. I have tried it with a bunch of different devices and have never had an issue. I hope that helps
