most likely from what you have said you have to be in the same room. Now I have a different electronic device that will let me to use my TiVo box from a different room. Got that box from Best Buy. It is made for them Best Buy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I owned one and my set up is for my tv, xbox, and DVR. It works better when I pointed them 30 degrees upward. A little slow response. I have not tried using it from a distance or from another room.
