• Yes, the buttons do light up and are clearly visible. Haven't seen a brightness feature for the buttons however I don't have any trouble seeing. The touch screen is VERY handy and can pretty much do anything that the buttons can do.

• Hello cfishlaw! Yes the Harmony Elite (Remote Control and Smart Hub) features motion-sensing backlit keys, and the brightness of the screen and buttons can also be adjusted. Here are the steps: From your Harmony touchscreen remote, tap the Menu (Gear) icon at the top left of the screen. Next, tap Settings > Remote > Brightness. Adjust your screen brightness and button backlight to your desired setting. Finally, tap Done to save your changes.
