how long on average does this take to set up? null

It depends on the number of devices you have and whether or not you are restoring your settings from another Harmony remote that is already in your account. If it is the latter, it could be less than 30 minutes, but if you have 4-6 new devices and setting up for the first time, it could take a couple of hours or longer depedning on the configurations you are trying to achieve.

I had the geek squad do it. The remote has a lot of settings and I had used the geek squad with an earlier harmony remote. did not take them that look. worth the cost.

For a one room system with about six devices and some custom functions it will take about one hour. Get things organized before you start with brand names, model numbers and used inputs for each activity. Everything connected and already setup/updated before you start.

I have set up 4 of them. Depending on your knowledge of the devices I would say 20-30 minutes per device
