I have the same setup. Currently Harmony remote hits the IR Repeater which sends signals to the devices with the contacts attached. In the previous answer, what are the "blasters"?

Please try again later.Geek squad installed my Harmony device, with the hub and two additional blasters, they told me that the hub blasts the IR signal outward towards the devices, but because my devices are in a tv stand cabinet the two blasters which are located close to other devices capture the IR signal and basically re-blast the signal so it bounces around inside the cabinet to trigger the devices to operate as desired, hub is on shelf with blu-Ray device, one blaster, sits on top of audio video receiver, and one blaster sits on top of cabinet next to Apple TV device and big screen tv, so all devices get blasted with the IR signal. Works just fine for me
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Justin. While maybe not "all" it does, the Hub is mainly for Wi-Fi based smart home devices. It also gives you a little more customization for activities. If you only have IR devices, the Hub is not necessary.
