Having just answered your question, I just found this on the Harmony website: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/how-to-add-a-multi-zone-device I haven't tried this, but this is how it says to control Zone 2
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Harmony will learn any command with original remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to learn the zone button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It works both zones on my receiver with no problems. You can also set up an activity that only controls the features you want. This is a very high tech remote and has done everything I wanted and added somethings I never thought a remote could do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would take some programming but yes you could make it happen. You would make a "scene" where both units were involved and their respective controls are available on the same screen. It won't be easy, but it is doable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Denise, After reading your question, it got me to looking at this remote that I just bought two days ago. As far as I can tell, it has no option for a Zone2, at least with my brand new Yamaha receiver. I tried creating a new activity, and then went to modify it to play on Zone2 but was unable to. Possible update for Logitech to see if they can do this in the future
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work with alternate macros... just assign a new activity like "Listen to Music". You can shuffle between activities rather easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Under device, you can control each component separately. You can only use one activity at a time. You would not want your other components to stay on when you select a different activitiy. This could confuse the average user and remotes as to what's actually on or off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just setup an activity with all the devices setup the way you want. I have an activity that starts a TV with direct tv receiver and my ps4 on another tv, the sound i have on ps4 via my stereo and the sound from direct via the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
