“just set mine up, called Lorex because I have no sound reproduced. They tell me that my cameras do not have the option of microphone or speaker. I can not believe this. even with a $25 camera, I can have sound. any help please?”

The only sound you will be able to produce is the talk through function. Due to laws being different in each state/country regarding voice recording they did not give the option. Maybe purchase compatible cameras that do record sound.
