(Also, we bought the Roots Magic 8 software program which allows you to download all Ancestry files to any Mac computer for permanent storage. Planning to discontinue the Ancestry subscription later this year and work only with the Roots Magic program, while linking it to our free Family Search.com subscription for further research.)

My kids have in fact played video games on this machine and the laptop didn’t overheat for once. The speakers are pretty good on this machine. I’d say this is the best value for money Mac deal for casual users

• A:Answer It's very easy to do it WITHOUT A CABLE. Once you purchase you new MacBook, call Apple Support and ask them to help you with the Migration Feature which takes all of the settings, pictures, desktop and bookmarks from your old unit to the new MacBook Air. It's amazing and took less than an hour. Everything was transferred wirelessly with no cables required.
