It really depends. Apples new MacBooks now have a new silicone chip which is called the M1 chip and Apple announced that they are switching from intel to making their own processor. Honestly the laptop is absolutely fast with the M1 chip. Intel core processors can be fast depending on what you want to use it for. If you looking to edit some videos the M1 Macbook will be your buddy.
