It depends on whether use the online or desktop versions of office, with online, it’s all saved to the cloud, not your computer, though you should be fine either way with 256 gbs of SSD
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I downloaded Microsoft Office onto my MacBook Air M1 2020 base model for an online class and I haven't noticed anything different than it was before. A notification said it took over 8GB of storage and honestly I can't tell a difference.
