• 2 external displays on the version with the M1 Pro, and 3 for the one with the M1 Max. The Mac Studio version of the M1 Max only supports one more display than the MacBook variant because it doesn’t have a monitor.

• I would say depending on the amount of ports your laptop has which should be four
