Hinges are on the left; opens to the left.

Opens on left, and is not adjustable. Also, during spin, often very noisy thumping sound. Was "dropped off" basically when I was at the doctors, and my renter let them in. So we set it up ourselves. Now will call my local repair people to come take a look. Very disappointed in Maytag as that has been my choice for 60 years. All my family were Maytag people...sigh...

I bought the washer and dryer. Its a little awkwardbecause the washer door swings open to the left but my dryer opens to the right so the doors  but meet in the middle.
