    • Answer This is a Wi-Fi 5 technology (supports standard 802.11ac). The newest Wi-Fi standards being supported on the market support 802.11ax. The first versions of 802.11ax are labelled Wi-Fi 6. 802.11ax also provides support for the 6 GHz band, and that version is called WiFi 6E. Within 802.11ac, one can find routers that have 2 radios (one 2.4 GHz and one 5 GHz radio) and also with 3 radios (one 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz radio) Be careful to not confuse this with the cellular 5G technology.
