Yes. for a typical car or small SUV. I have a Tahoe so I needed a pair of extension video cables (6 ft) and RCA plug couplers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The yellow composite video RCA is long enough to reach the front of just about any car/truck. The power/ground wires are not, as they expect you to ground anywhere in the rear and then tap power at your reverse tail lights. But those wires can easily be extended to run up front. When using an in-dash system, I like to power the camera off an ignition source so it's always on when the car is on. The camera will only be displayed when the vehicle is in reverse. This typically allows the picture is display a little quicker than having to wait an extra second for the camera to power up with reverse lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado crew cab and the wires ran just fine. I also had on one a Chevy Colorado and it worked great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cameras come with about 17 feet of wire which is typically long enough for most vehicles. if you have a long bed pickup or a long cargo van then you may need an extension.
