A:AnswerThere are other sources (which I can't mention the name) has replacement video cables that you can order online. I am not sure about getting a whole new wiring harness that came with the cam. If all you need is to replace the video cable that has the red wires at both ends of the RCA inputs/outputs, this other big source has plenty to choose from. You can also get ones in longer lengths and different grades of thickness if you need longer cabling for a long truck, or to reach the back end of a trailer. They are also fairly inexpensive.

This unit has a standard RCA connector for the video feed from the camera. My car has a stereo with a 6" touch screen that has an option for a backup camera. the camera plugged into it no problem. I connected the power to the same power source for the radio. Didn't need the ground because the video cable has a ground in it. After trying to power the camera many different ways, I ended up largely ignoring the red power and black ground wires. I used the red power wire at the video plug end only. Watched a few youtube videos to help with the installation. Camera works great.
