What is the RAM? null

I have the model with 8gb of RAM and the 128gb SSD. It runs fine in that configuration.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory and is used by a computer for every task it completes during operation. It may be used to run an active piece of software/program and a Central Processing Unit (CPU) operation running in the background. RAM, when not enough, becomes a limiter for running certain tasks. When purchasing a program, along with other system requirements, you will not be able to run and/or load the program unless you meet or exceed the minimum requirements. RAM being one of those.
