• You can easily run AutoCAD and Solidoworks on the i5 Surface. For the best performance, though, I would recommend the Surface Book with dedicated GPU.

• It has a chip, not a graphics board of any type with its own memory. Look mention of a graphic unit in the competition if you need that - such as for gaming.

• I run Solidworks and AutoCAD (At the same time) on my Surface and they run like Usain Bolt.
