No. It does not come with Microsoft Office. Your can buy a bundle at the store. I purchased my Surface Pro 4 i5 4GB Ram 128GB memory and it was $749.99 which included Office Personal. If you were to purchase it separately then you'll be looking at paying upwards of $100 for Office so I chose to go with the bundle. I also got Webroot, an anti-virus/malware software program free because I bought the Surface Pro with Office. You can't go wrong with the combination. If you're looking to buy the Surface Pro, you might as well fork out another $49.99 and get Office.

I also needed Office. I downloaded "WPS" for free and it's great. When I sent in the project that I needed Office for, they opened it in Microsoft Office with no issues and thought I had used MS Office. Works great and it is free. Also, get Grammarly.Also free and also works great!
