A:Answer Hello Joanna! I am currently writing this on my i5 that I picked up about a month ago, but I did use the m3 model extensively before then. I use my Surface almost exclusively for law school. I will say that I did notice a difference between the two models. The most obvious area that I noticed a difference was when using a browser with multiple tabs open while doing research. On the m3, I did notice some slow down after having about 7-10 tabs open, depending what was on each tab, while also having OneNote or Microsoft Word open, while also streaming Spotify. With the i5, I find that I can have more than double that many tabs and still not experience any sort of lag, even with the aforementioned programs open. If you have the extra money to put towards the i5, I would say it is definitely worth it, especially if you can get it on sale. I also feel that the i5 will be more future proof, as newer programs will tend to take up more processing power. I hope this helps!
