Install directions say to stay clear of metal when installing. Could be an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend you use the antenna outside. A metal roof would attenuate the signal too greatly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.More likely outside as the MOHU 60 is only for receiving OTA (Over the Air) signals 60 miles away. It is always better to purchase a stronger antenna than needed as you will get better reception during Stormy weather.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We also have a metal roof- my husband put it at the peak on the gable end. Outside- not sure about inside!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest that you do a channel scan to see how far you are exactly from the towers. There are quite a few signals to be had in Charlotte but if you are 60+ miles from those towers the Air 60 won't be the antenna for you since it has a 60 mile range. You can google "OTA signals at my location" and you should get a few options that will allow you to enter in your complete address for a scan. You can use this antenna with a metal roof but it would have to be mounted up and over the roof line so that the metal would not bounce the signals away from the antenna. Using an antenna in the attic would not work because of the metal roof.
