Yes, it is very sensitive with the direction, if the TV signal is from different TV tower, you really have to adjust the antenna direction. It is not convenient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It says it is a non-directional antenna, but I got better reception when I oriented it the way recommended on the HD channel website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you get our antenna you will need to find the “sweet spot” or perfect placement for your antenna to get the best reception. A general rule of thumb for antenna placement is the higher you can get it, the better reception you will have. Most customers try several locations until they locate the spot where they get the most channels. Please remember that every time you move your antenna you will need to run your channel scan again. If you don't try several spots you may be missing out on some channels so try it a few spots until you find a place that yields the best reception. Even a move of an inch or two can make a difference!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have not had to move it around, it is installed outside behind our home on the roof peak (a ranch so it's not up that high). We are in a rural area and we get 32 stations. We are very pleased with it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you should not. I have not had our handyman do a permanent top-of-room mount, and I just have it sitting in the back yard on top of a ladder. I don't move it or do anything and it gets several dozen useable channels and probably a hundred more in foreign languages. Works great. You don't need to do anything. (BTW the channels I'm getting all broadcast from about 65 miles away)
