Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It needs to be mounted on a window. It is like an antenna that used to be used on top of roofs, but you pick up channels from the window. Buy a coaxial cable and connector to make your cord longer, so you can string it along the floor and up to a window. I bought a 16 foot coaxial cable for mine. It works great when it is up against a window. I wished I would have purchased it a long time ago!
