Purchased three of these antennas for use in various parts of the house, upstairs, downstairs, and in the garage in the Brentwood, TN, area. This area south of Nashville and south of the broadcast antennas is known for its hills and the antenna pulls the same stations in every part of the house. Use these web sites to see if a digital TV antenna should work for you: http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/dtvmaps/ and http://www.gomohu.com/tv-for-free-front/.

I purchased this product as a bundle with a Roku Stick from BestBuy when I cut the cord to save money like many cord cutters.
My plan was to use this antanne to pick up the local HD channels for my parents who only watch Univision and Telemundo and to sign up for PS Vue for all my English channels.
This antanne did the trick! I was able to pick up 68 channels in HD quality for no additional cost. Amazing!
My only frustration with this device is that I had to move it around for Telemundo and Univion quite often because of weak signal or signal interference. I would have these issues in the room but we wanted it in the living room where everyone watches tv. It because such a hassle to do this for two channels that I signed up for Sling Tv on the Roku for their Latin package for $10.
This device is perfect for people who only want local channels. The quality is perfect but be warned, you might need to adjust the location of the antanne for the signal to remain clear.

It finally happened... my cable service went down for a week due to a utility company digging in my neighborhood. I remembered I bought this device along with a Chromecast device. Hooked up the antennae and within 5 minutes I was watching local programming with probably about 15-20 channels to choose from in my area. Connected directly to the TV with no power cables needed, just cable from TV to antennae that was included. Have my cable box connected to HDMI and this to the antennae and I have best of both worlds (maybe one channel with something decent to watch at any given time). Takes up no space whatsoever and most people wouldn't even notice it connected as it is easy to hide. Much better than the old rabbit ears and a converter box if you finally have a newer TV with digital tuners only. If you have an old TV without digital tuner, you would still need a converter box. Still a great solution compared to the antennae in days gone by.

I bought this antenna to get me buy with TV while I save the money on cable or dish while I put that money into my fixer upper for the next year. This was more than a piece of cake to quote install, and worked right away with my TV. I've had no reception issues whatsoever. Really, it's better than cable in terms of reliability during a rainstorm. It gets all of the local channels and more than I ever knew existed. I do miss ESPN and some of my other Dish channels but its 30 bucks it's fantastic.

I have long yearned to cut cable, so I bought this antenna, no larger than a sheet of paper and tacked it to the wall directly above my TV. I get very nice reception of all major networks except NBC which does not have a broadcast tower in Gainesville, FL. I got a few extra channels that didn't come in on cable like Me.TV and some extra public TV stations. Generally the reception and picture quality is excellent. Occasionally, most typically during the day, the picture does break up. If I had it to do over I would have upgraded to the next level up which has a plug in amplifier, but one of these was not available at Best Buy when I was purchasing my equipment.
I paired the antenna with Roku and bought Sling streaming service for $20 a month. The result is all the TV I want or need.

Best Indoor Antenna I've Used - Ever

I have tried every antenna in the book. I dumped cable TV a few years ago (still have cable internet), and made the choice to only receive broadcast TV. I just love these Mohu's and really don't look at any other indoor variety anymore.
I have two of these Mohu's and just ordered two more. I get more channels with both of these on two bedroom TV's than I do with my two attic antennas that cost me several hundred dollars to have installed. I live in a city about 10-25 miles from most of the local broadcast towers, but they are in different directions, and so I have struggled getting all of them at once with stationary antennas.
The amplified version has a USB power plug, so you can plug it directly into your TV for power, if it has a USB port. If not, there is an included USB power adapter so you can plug it into an outlet. The amplifier itself is very small and thin, and integrates/fits well between the coax cable to the TV and the antenna.
The antenna has a black side and a white side, and appears to get the same reception with either side against the wall, though it is somewhat directional in terms of which wall you place it on. There are four push-pins included and the antenna has two holes in the top corners so you don't have to pierce it.
If you're <25 miles or so from the transmitters, the non-amplified version will work just fine. I have one 50-mile amplified and a 30-mile non-amplified, and see little difference in performance in my area (Omaha, NE). In fact, if your signal strength is strong, the amp might present a problem with signal overload. There is no material difference between the 30 and 50-mile antennas other than that the 50-mile has an amp included, and the 30-mile does not. The amp, however, is a separate unit (not permanently attached to the antenna) and you do not have to use it with the antenna.
Great design and yes, great performance. I have yet to see a better-performing indoor antenna.

This is a great antenna if you live within 30 miles of the transmission source (check your distance here: https://transition.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/dtvmaps/
Ideally, you want to place the antenna in your home closest to the direction of signal transmission (i.e. if you live north of the transmission tower, you would want the antenna to be on the south side of your home).
I first tried to install the Leaf in my home, up against the window and received so-so results. To be fair, my TV is located on the exact opposite side of the house as the transmission towers (go figure). I ended up placing it in the attic, using existing coax cable to connect it to my TV.
Remember, you are using an antenna. Flash back to the 70s and remember messing with "rabbit ears"...yeah, you'll be doing something similar to that again. Best to have one person watch the TV and check multiple channels while the other person moves the antenna around. Once I found a spot, I secured the antenna to the wood (it has two small holes that you can place a nail in to hold it). In my area (22 miles from the transmission source), I get 36 channels. The antenna works amazingly well. Just be prepared to do a little signal searching!

I bought this antenna for my boat. I simply put it in the cupboard underneath where the tv sits, and performed an auto channel search. It picked up 56 channels! This works perfectly when tied up at the dock, however while at anchor, with the boat swinging in different directions, the signal will come and go. Apparently the antenna needs to be stationary to work.

We used to have cable service in our office, but gave it up because the price was outrageous. One day, on a whim, I picked this up and plugged it in. We're on the lower level of a two story concrete building with glass windows that look out on the main street of a smallish city. With the antenna laying on top of a book case (approixmately 23 feet in from the window) we receive 4 stations. When the antenna is moved a few feet closer to the window we receive 9 stations! That's much better than I expected, and the quality is excellent! I'm very happy with this purchase and I would recommend that you try it if you're considering getting an indoor HD antenna.

I have always had cable throughout my life, but my new roommate did not have nor want to purchase a cable package. Since there are a number of shows that I still wanted to watch live and be able to watch the news on occasion I started looking for an interior antenna. During my search I found the Mohu brand and I decided to give it a try based on other reviews I saw and their website tool told me that this model would pick up plenty of channels.
I am very happy to say that it has been working great! It picks up plenty of channels including the ones that I want. It provides clear HD picture that is just as good as cable.

i bought another 60 dollar terk antenna that said 60 miles. that thing didnt get anything and in the middle of miami. on the other hand this antenna was able to pull about 30 channels. i amplified this and got about 46 channels. if you can purchase the one with the amplification, its worth it. also these flat antennas pick up more channels if they are set flat and specially by a windows. if you stand it up vertically it looses signal.

I wanted to use an extra TV in my upstairs workout space without going through Cox Cable. The HDTV Leaf Indoor Antenna works well and receives 30+ channels including ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS. I followed the easy to install directions and had it up and running within 30 minutes. Like any antenna, there are occasional blips with weak signals, but that is only on some channels and less than 1% of the time. For $40 you can't beat it!

Works as advertised. I can pull in 28 stations all in hd. Easy set up and very affordable. Don’t by extra coax cable unless your sure. Salesman said I had 30 days to return. Turns out it’s 15. Wouldn’t accept cable on day 16. The antenna rocks..Best Buy not so much
