YES it does! And it works wonderfully! I upgraded to this phone from a Moto G3, and this one understands speech much better! I've had this phone about a month and have yet to see it mess anything up!

Yes, they do. All you have to do is connect the microphone to the messaging app. To do that you press the plus button next to the text box and press the microphone and it will ask you if you will allow it to connect.
