Thanks for your interest, Andy. If you look at our carrier compatibility list here: https://www.motorola.com/us/carrier-compatibility, this device is compatible with AT&T. However, 5G support will be added later. - Mike
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, mine is currently running on AT&T 5G. I just had to swap from my 4G plan to a 5G plan to take advantage of the speeds. When I got the phone I popped my SIM in, booted up the phone, and I had instant access to AT&T 4G right at the start with zero changes. I ran like that for about a week with no issues, but figured a plan upgrade was best to take advantage of the 5G speeds. I'm glad I did... because my new plan has more features like tethering, wireless hotspot, and free HBO Max... and it's cheaper per month than my previous plan. (Tethering and wireless hotspot did not work on this phone on my old plan, simply because I wasn't paying the extra fees per month for that feature. The phone checks the provisioning signal and won't allow it unless it gets the "okay" from AT&T.) Hope this helps.
