A:AnswerYes I use this for my Xfinity and it works great. You will, however, need a standalone router for wifi to use with it as it is just a modem. You can use the Ethernet port on it for wired internet.
A:AnswerIt should handle it just fine. My cable company has some issues so I do not get all the down load upload speeds they predict I should. But it is a inexpensive no thrills modem. Just need to call the cable company to give them the MAC Address.
