“I have a Netgear AC 1750 Router. My TV freezes and the CPU is now running slow. Cox said get a 16 speed modem. I am confused. Best Buy said my 3.0 Docis was compatible with Cox and this Router. 3.1 is too much. Advice?”

Regardless of your ISP speeds & individual needs, this modem should be plenty for Cox speeds (except for Gigablast). This modem wasn't too much more than a 16-channel Motorola that I bought but due to a tech support issue with Cox, they actually credited my account the difference so it was a no-brainer. I have it paired with a WRT3200ACM and have no problems streaming 4k video!
