• I replaced an older N router with this one and my speed doubled. The AC speed standard is a big upgrade.

• My internet provider is Cox Cable. I have the Cox high speed internet preferred with download of up to 100Mbps. With the Netgear N300 Router WNR2000v3 i could only get at best 40Mbps. With the Netgear AC1000 I’m getting up to 84Mbps. It was worth it for me and I didn’t need my WiFi extender which was about 30 + ft. From my router. It really was worth it for me.if your looking for higher speed I do recommend.
