• Gaming requires less than 1 Mbps to the surprise of many. You should be fine with 15Mbps and this router.

• Not sure if you’re still hunting an answer or not but figured I’d give you my two cents. If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) only offers 15Mbps of speed no router or access point will help that. Internally (inside your home) your network will be blazing fast. External speeds (out and in from the internet) will only be as fast as the speeds offered from your ISP provider. Short answer - no it will not help your online gaming experience.
