Mine worked great for a month, then it lost its connection. I've tried to restart the process and even used the reset button, no luck. Now the indicator light stays amber, never flashes the green light. Won't reconnect to router in same room. Any ideas? null

I would press the WEP button on the extender and then the WEP button on your router

I had this issue and what I did was login into my http://Mywifiext.net and reconnected it to my router. If you set your extender up via wps 
Connect to netgear extender network and set it up via internet
