I have a quad level home and installed the AC1200 in a room on the top floor. I have a very strong signal in all rooms on every floor as well as outside in the yard. Just be sure to place it as high up as possible, being on the middle floor should give you a nice signal all around.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this in my RV all over the country in RV parks where there is usually a horrible RV signal. I travel with it on business. It does a great job of boosting a signal in the hotels. I keep one in my RV at home. My RV is at least 200 feet from my house. In all cases, regardless of barriers or reasonable distance this unit works great! I would highly recommend it. I do not think they type of router being used matters inasmuch as I pick up many routers when this is plugged in. It is highly unlikely everyone had a similar/identical router or network.

It picks up a signal a couple of blocks away with fences, metal vehicles, metal RVs and wires all over the place. It does a GREAT job in picking up many networks that aver very likely using an assortment of routers. I highly recommend this product.

We have them in two different homes with two different kinds of routers and it works perfectly in both. And it is really easy to set-up. I had to do it on-line but, if you have the right kind of router it will, essentially, set itself up.
