“Will this work with Spectrum Wireless Internet Service? They offer both 2.4g and 5g. I want to use 5g. The router they provide is not that great. I want a better router. How do you switch it to 5g once I have it set-up?”

The answer is yes, I have Spectrum/Time Warner internet service, but I decline the router they provided, instead I purchased a Netgear N600 router for $49 and it worked without any inconveniences for 9 years, it just died about a week ago, got my money's worth due to the fact that Spectrum wanted to charge me $12 a month, I would've paid close to $1,100 if I kept theirs, it is possible you may not have to change anything, just purchase a router that provides 2.4-5.0g.. hope this helps,,
