No, you own it, you own it. However, I had to return mine since it didn't solve my connectivity problem with my fios. It ended up being my modem part, not the router that was the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No monthly fee but they try to sell you the security software. I used the phone app to set the device up then I deleted it off my phone. You can log into the router from your computer using a browser by typing 192.168.1.1. — hope this helps!
