If Verizon is charging you a router rental fee you should no longer have to pay that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.buyng this saved me $5/month with RCN cable. I cannot speak to other internet providers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your router is a combo unit with the modem built in - NO. But if you are paying monthly for just the router and wifi then YES.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you get this router, you can cancel any additional fees for wireless. But, you definitely need an internet provider. I have BrightHouse for TV and internet. But, I didn't need to have BrightHouse supply me with wireless at an additional fee. The router does that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your plan that you signed up for. I can say that through Comcast, they charge a montly lease fee for their less than stellar modem/router combo. I just had to call them and give them some numbers off the back of the router, but it does save a couple of bucks and the performance improvement would be worth it even if it didn't save you money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.probably not, this does not replace your router, it only replaces the wifi - which is definately advisable, as its a MUCH better wifi router. it also sets up your current router automatically not to be a wifi router any more, so it replaces it... but this new wifi router gets its internet from the old one!!! so you still need the old one!
