just follow directions included with product. on the back will be ports and one will be ether net.

Don't waste your money on this if you're not using it for WiFi. This is strictly a WiFi router. It is NOT a modem. This router works with cable modems. If you're buying this and you don't have a cable modem, save your money and just buy a cable modem. It's like buying a fan when you already have air conditioning. You're just throwing your money away form something you're not going to use.
