Sorry man if they reset the router with the reset button it goes back to the original settings. But there is an app that you can download called the app genie. It uses dns I think so if they do I think you can just add it back from there. I never tried it but maybe it can work for you. I hope this helps you.

Please try again later.I haven't found any consumer router that does not include a reset button to return the settings to their defaults, nor one where the default settings have parental controls enabled. Your best solution may be to extend the wiring so that both the modem and the router are in a locked drawer or cabinet to which only a parent carries the key. Alternatively, since parental controls can only ever block some of the sites you want blocked, you could adapt to the reality that your child will be able to find unacceptable content on the net regardless of your efforts.
