I don't have it but I think the other answers are wrong. This should work as a router just fine for your INTRANET; which means you can communicate with other devices on your own personal network. You should only need INTERNET when you want to access other computers and networks on the world wide web.

If you meaning without an internet provider if so you can't. It has to be with a land line wall outlet set up like for a desktop or modem from a internet provider. Hope this helps.
