Simply put, R7000 has greater range capability than R6400.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used both products and I can say that the nighthawk has bigger antennas that can be removed (unscrewed) whereas the R6400 has them stuck on. This means that the range for the nighthawk is greater than the R6400. Both modems have worked great for me but I find the nighthawk is slightly better at giving wireless signal through walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Essentially, you give up the ability to have more devices on your wifi network. The r6400 can handle 6-8 devices at one time on your wifi while the nighthawk allows 8+ devices. This will be the main practical difference you will notice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is almost identical and looks identical. performance and range is the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A very slight speed reduction. 1750 Mbps vs 1900 Mbps. You probably wouldn't even notice the difference. It is certainly not worth the $50 price differential. The R7000 also has removable antennas while the R6400 has non-removable antennas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The R6400 is a Nighthawk model they just didn't put it on this page for some reason. But to know what you'd be really giving anything up check the specs of each model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to consider the amount of wireless devices attached to the router. To maximize your speed results , it is definitely worth the extra money for a quality router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own the R6400 The R7000 might have more features.
