The best approach to this "ongoing issue with Netgear" is to go into the router's settings. Under Attached Devices, select Access Control. Check the box that says, "Turn on Access Control." This will connect all devices and restart the computer. You may have to return here often to uncheck the box and recheck it. Netgear has no solution yet for devices NOT connecting to their router. Keep at it.
