I have a two floor house and have signal everywhere, even outside. It's worth noting that the 5GHz band has a shorter range and you should use this for devices that support it and are fairly close to the router. The 2.4GHz band will have a better range but may suffer from some interferences that the 5GHz band does not.

i have a 2300 square foot 2 story house and it will work anywhere we have used our laptop throughout the house. I am in my garage as i type this answer if that helps.

I don't know how large you mean by large. Our house is about 2400 sq ft. We have the router in our school room at one end of the house and we don't have any issues getting 4 bars of service at the other end. Our internet often has outage and is sometimes weak (we live in a very rural area.) There are 4 rooms and 2 closets between the router and the living area (where we do most of our internet time.)

Depends on how much metal and concrete are between you and the router. I did not have good luck with this router from a range perspective...

This is a tricky question to answer because not all homes are built the same nor are their radio environments the same. Your mileage will vary. The farther away you get from the router, the weaker and less robust the connection becomes. I suggest that if you want whole home Wireless you install Range Extenders throughout your home as needed.

I have the router set up in a closet in my spare bedroom and the signal gets out and covers the whole house. Single story 2000 SQFT

It really depends on the composition of the house and the layout, but I have this router and it's in the downstairs left corner of my house (enclosed garage turned Man-Cave). I have no issues connecting with any device and no disconnect issues from signal loss.

The range of an access point does come in to play when considering how well you wireless connectivity works, however, you may want to take in to consideration the mobile device requiring wireless service. The wireless connection is a two-way conversation; cell phone and tablets do not provide the same signal strength as do access points. Imagine having a conversation with someone across a wide distance, where one of you is raising their voice and the other speaking barely above a whisper.

I have been using it in a huge Victorian house for over a year. The router is on 2nd floor at front of house and the signal actually could get to 1st floor room at the rear of the house, but was weak there. I got a Netgear EX7000 range extender and that extender + this router blasts both bands throughout the house and outside. The trick is to locate the extender close enough to the router that it can pick up a strong signal to re-broadcast. The extender is on 2nd floor, 2/3 of the way back the house. There is even a plate glass mirror between the router and the extender, but that doesn't seem to have any negative impact on signal strength.

Imposible to answer as the construction layout of your home is not known, such as types of walls (brick,etc.) Is it square or a very long rectangle. Use the reviews to get this info from others who had larger homes with what ever impediments like yours they may have had.
