A:AnswerYes all the features still work when you add it onto your basic system. My pro camera is able to speak while my other ones do not and it was still able to sync with everything else
A:AnswerApple 5 and up and Samsung models will work for sure. Also any PC with a internet connection but you will not be able to do the set up without the phone app.
A:AnswerI haven't set up any port-forwarding for the base station (or the other Arlo cameras that have their own IP address). I believe the base station works on a push model, where it contacts the Netgear cloud servers, so only out-going IP connection initiation is required. What this means is that all video goes through the Netgear systems, but that provides the convenience of accessing the camera feeds without the need to open holes on your firewall.
A:AnswerHello yes I did it with my wife's phone he would have to go to settings and grant you permission to use it and then you will get a email open the link and then you will have the access to the cameras
A:AnswerThe base station that controls several cameras has an IP address, but the cameras themselves do not. They communicate to the base station over a different protocol that uses less power.
