A:AnswerNighthawk CM1200 is compatible. You will have to get hold of your internet provider after installation. Calling the internet provider's phone number is the best option. Important, the internet provider may or may not remove rental payment. However the high number in both download and upload speeds is well worth the amount spent on this essential hardware.
A:AnswerJeff posted that this works with 4 Ethernet devices. Lies. Only one port works unless you plus a managed switch into that single Ethernet port (a Managed switch that has multiple Ethernet connections)
The box says even says 4 devices work but it is all lies!! Netgear confirmed it for me.
If you aggrigate then you can use 2 Ethernet ports for one connection. But only one.
I should have returned this but decided not to. Don’t want to deal with Comcast anymore telling me that they dont update the firmware for customer owned equipment. Then I ask Netgear to provide me new firmware and they tell me that Comcast is supposed to update the firmware. BS!!!
