Yes. This modem is approved by Xfinity for their Gigabit service, especially since it uses the DOCSIS 3.1 protocol. I use this modem with my 400m service and I'm averaging about 480m download and 12m upload. No buffering on Netflix, Hulu, or DirecTV on demand. Very happy with this modem.

This router has the coax cable in port. It has the fastest IP technology (DOCS 3.1) available on the market as I understand it. My speed jumped 3X and I reduced my paid for max speed with Comcast. We never did get the max speed with them on their router?????

This modem certainly has the chops to do it. I was getting 700+ down from Xfinity but only for devices directly plugged directly into the router
