You wont be able to aggregate ports directly to this modem, as it only has 1 port for Ethernet on the back of it. I too have aggregated ports connected to a switch. Therefore the modem does use aggregation, but your main router which connects to it should be set to static lag on the 2 1 gb ports, then the switch has to also support port aggregation as well in order to work. You cant use the router without a smart managed switch that supports the aggregation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Port aggregation requires 2 ports on a device. This modem only has one. There are some Network Attached Storage devices (NAS) that have the feature. I have a Netgear RN10400 with twin Gigabit ports that supports aggregation. Also, needing more than one gigabit WAN port means your paying and receiving internet speeds in excess of 1000Mb. If you're not, this modem will do you just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It won't. Only one giga port in the back of the CM1000. Switch won't help. You should look into ARRIS SURFboard SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1 which has 2 giga ports in the back and can be configured for aggregation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have the Netgear 3100 Nighthawk. Flawless. Speeds are crazy fast.
